Jobs are in abundance if you care to look for them at the right places. But the question is always not about the availability of jobs but whether there is a job available for me, that matches with what I’ve been trained for and in sync with my heartbeat.

So, there will always be a mismatch.

The employment market needs leaders and people that can create value but they are hard to come by.

The job seekers are looking for employment that provides the necessary exposure by giving training, good guidance from seniors and a great name on their business card but the employers that meet these criteria can be counted with your ten fingers.

But if you are the guy that do not bother with the name and the perks but the one that is confident knowing you can start at anywhere, and that does not stop you from being somebody one day, you will always see job opportunities everywhere.

In other words, if you are not picky, these are the top jobs around and they are available to you NOW.

Fresh Grad

1.Sales Executives/Sales Engineers

You will find these jobs are always in demand. And this is one of the jobs that probably employers are more lenient in terms of experience. Organizations need good sales people and if you can convince them you can do the job, you have it. And do not despise sales jobs. I shall let you out a secret – Everyone sells! And the higher the position, the more you need to do it.

If you speak some English that the interviewer can understand, a bit street smart, employers would probably give you a chance.

And a tip: if your long term plan is to be an entrepreneur or have your own business, a sales job will give you the opportunity to get into the right circle of networks.

2.Accounts Executives

Most accounting firms do not mind recruiting fresh graduates. The reason is simple – the more experienced ones will eventually migrate to higher roles of budgeting, translating reports into good business decisions and etc. Thus, openings at the entry-level are always available.

3.Audit Executives

Any audit firms will tell you they need fresh graduates as entry-level positions are always vacant from employees that moved up the ladder once they had enough of checking figures of SMIs.

4.Indoor Sales Consultants/Tele-sales

This is a sales job but instead of having to go out to see customers, you see them when they walk-in to your office or talk to them on the phone. No transport of your own and wanted to know what sales job is all about? This is it.

5.Junior Engineers

Mainly for people with qualifications related to electrical, electronics, mechanical & chemical engineering. Factories need them and we still have some left in the country. This may not be very promising in the future when more foreign manufacturers are finding it cheaper to produce their goods in other parts of the world. So grab it when such opportunity is still around now.

6.Junior Programmers

You want to get into one of the IT houses, you better be good in coding. And how do you get attention that you are the one they should hire and not another fresh graduate? Your project assignments in college, freelancing work and generous favors that you have done for your friends in developing some small applications will now reap its dues. So, if you are a student reading this, it’s never a waste of time to dabble with some development projects even without pay.

If you can speak some fairly good English, you probably be hired right away.

Various titles you can find: Office Administrator, Inventory Executive, Marketing Coordinators, Event Coordinator and etc. The role is simple – to provide administrative support to the office or to some departments be it the sales, marketing, technical or research.

10.Management Trainees

The designation by definition is available only for fresh graduates. You are trained on certain fields in your university or college but before you are given a proper Executive title in the job market, you start off as a Trainee. A good start for graduates especially for those who do not have any inkling on what to specialize. You get to be rotated from one department to another in which you get a glimpse of each department’s scope of work.
