As the PHP Developer you will support the marketing objectives of Upfront Media by following through with the wireframes and website architecture to develop strong bespoke CMS as well as web services on a time to time basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CMS along with API’s
• Assist design & development of new services in accordance with technical roadmaps
• Communicate project status to stakeholders throughout the business
• Perform other activities and duties as requested

Requirements

• Requires at least 2-3 years web application development and programming with PHP
• Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and test software using industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
• Comfortable in a small, intense start-up environment
• Good knowledge of web applications & application servers, & RESTful web services
• Experience with ad serving platforms & scalable, high-volume web applications a plus
• Experience developing web applications with development frameworks such as Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgnitor and MVC frameworks.
• Familiar with Photoshop and comfortable converting Photoshop mockups to CSS/HTML
• Good knowledge of web applications, databases, web services and the flow of information between each of those components
• Experience or interest in mobile apps is a plus
